Good to know
Pricing questions.
What is the difference between annual and monthly billing?
Annual billing bundles the year and gives you 2 months' savings vs. paying month by month. Professional is $1,190/year (~$99/month effective) instead of $119/month, saving $238 over the year. Professional Plus is $2,990/year (~$249/month effective) instead of $299/month, saving $598 over the year. You can pick either at checkout.
What is included with every plan?
Every plan includes full access to the SecureSplit® platform: all state-specific and generic calculators, secure client intake, the document vault, court-ready outputs, and scenario modeling. State-specific calculators are live in 37 states today, with more shipping every two-week sprint. Generic court-ready and accepted forms cover all 51 jurisdictions in the meantime.
Are SecureSplit® documents accepted by courts, specifically California?
Yes, and there is a common misunderstanding worth addressing directly. California Family Code Rule 5.275 governs software that calculates tax to determine support. SecureSplit® does not calculate tax for the client. The licensed professional handling the matter enters the actual federal, state, and FICA tax dollar amounts, which Rule 5.275 explicitly permits without court approval. In any event or state, every output is generated under your name and authority with your assumptions documented, which is what courts expect to see on declarations, stipulations, and settlement filings.
Will SecureSplit® reduce my billable hours?
It changes the shape of your time. SecureSplit® shortens the financial-modeling and document-production work on each matter, so the same quality output takes less time. For firms billing flat or fixed fees, that is a clear margin gain. For hourly firms, partners typically use the freed time to take on more matters or to focus on higher-value work. Either way, the work product is tighter and client conversations are easier.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
The 7-day free trial is available once per account. If you have used your trial and come back to SecureSplit® later, even a year or more down the road, the trial cannot be reinstated. You can pick up right where you left off on any paid plan, or book a demo with our team if you would like a walkthrough first.
Can I add seats mid-term?
Yes. You can add user seats at any point in your term, prorated to the time remaining. Removing seats happens at renewal. Professional supports up to 2 total seats; Professional Plus supports up to 5. Anything larger falls under Enterprise.
What happens at renewal?
Your plan renews automatically at the same tier and billing period unless you change tiers or cancel. We send a renewal reminder ahead of each term so there are no surprises.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit cards on Professional and Professional Plus, processed through Stripe. Enterprise plans support ACH and invoice billing through a dedicated account manager.
